As a teenager Margaret studied oils in West Vancouver with Charles Stegeman and Francois Andre. Over the years she has taken many courses in Drawing, Batik, Silkscreen and Pottery. After time spent raising a family, she studied for a year with Bill Porteus in Victoria. In 1997, Margaret graduated from the Victoria College of Art. She is now living on Pender Island and experimenting in many different mediums.
Her art work has been shown at the Talisman Book Store on Pender Island, the Sooke Fine Arts Show, the Sidney Fine Art Show, the Victoria Arts Council Gallery, in a number of Alumni shows for the Victoria College of Art and in a joint show with Jim Swain at the Victoria Community Arts Gallery.
